How warm is a wool duvet compared to blankets?

It is difficult to give a woollen duvet a blanket warmth rating, which relates directly to the weight and type of fibre used.  In winter, a wool duvet insulates you effectively, keeping you warm and cosy.  This can be the equivalent of three quality blankets.

In summer, the same wool duvet absorbs excess moisture (and excess heat) away from your body, keeping you cool and dry. This can be more similar to 1-2 blankets. For some people this is perfect, but we find that many others still prefer a lighter weight option for Summer.
